This page explains how KNTRCTR uses cookies and similar technologies. You can change your choice anytime from Cookie settings in the footer.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site run, remember your preferences, and — if you allow it — measure traffic and ads.
2. Your Choice
Essential cookies always run so you can sign in and use the platform. Analytics, advertising, and functional cookies follow where you are:
- United States: those cookies are on when you arrive. Turn advertising off with Do not sell or share my personal information, or change any category in Cookie settings. A browser Global Privacy Control signal keeps advertising off.
- Canada, outside Quebec: those cookies are on when you arrive. A short notice explains that, and you can dismiss it. Opt out the same way as in the United States.
- Quebec, the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom: those cookies stay off until you Accept all or turn them on in Cookie settings.
- If we cannot tell your region, we use that same opt-in choice.
3. Cookies We Use
- Essential: Sign-in session, security (CSRF), and your cookie preference itself (
kntrctr_consent). - Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, used to understand how the public site is used. Clarity is not loaded on signed-in dashboard pages. We also record first-party events in our own systems (page views, sign-ups, demo requests) to operate the product.
- Advertising (optional): Google Ads conversion and remarketing cookies, used to measure campaigns and show relevant ads if you arrived from one.
- Functional (optional): Remembers display choices so the site stays how you left it.
4. Third-Party Services
- Google Tag Manager (loads the Google measurement tags)
- Google Analytics (analytics, when analytics cookies are allowed)
- Microsoft Clarity (session insights on public pages, when analytics cookies are allowed)
- Google Ads (conversions and ads measurement, when advertising cookies are allowed)
- Stripe (payment checkout on Stripe's site when you subscribe)
5. How to Change Your Mind
Use Cookie settings in the footer, or Cookies in Settings if you are signed in. To turn advertising cookies off (California "do not sell or share"), use Do not sell or share my personal information in the footer. You can also delete cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in.
6. Quebec and California
In Quebec, optional cookies require consent before they run. In California and other U.S. states, advertising cookies may be treated as a "share" of personal information. They are on unless you opt out with the footer link, by turning Advertising off, or with a browser Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor by keeping advertising cookies off.
